The fashion brand Bottega Veneta was founded in 1966 by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro in Vicenza, Italy. From the outset, the company focused on producing luxury leather goods, emphasizing artisanal excellence. Its signature braided leather ("Intrecciato") arose from the necessity of working with thick leather that the sewing machines of the time could not handle. Bottega Veneta deliberately avoided a visible logo, instead using the slogan "When your own initials are enough," which underscored its discretion and exclusive style. Today, the brand belongs to the luxury goods group Kering. Under the direction of various creative directors, Bottega Veneta has become one of the most sought-after luxury brands. Its bags, such as the "Jodie" and the "Pouch," have become "it" bags. The brand remains a symbol of minimalist, understated luxury and is particularly popular with a fashion-conscious clientele who value craftsmanship and quality.
