Dior
The renowned fashion house Dior was founded in Paris in 1946 by the French fashion designer Christian Dior. Just one year later, he presented his first collection, known as the "New Look," which revolutionized post-war fashion. It was characterized by cinched waists, accentuated busts, and voluminous skirts, creating an ultra-feminine silhouette. Since Christian Dior's death in 1957, the house has been led by a succession of prominent creative directors, including Yves Saint Laurent, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and currently Maria Grazia Chiuri. Today, the Christian Dior brand belongs to the luxury goods conglomerate LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) and is one of its most important pillars. Dior is known not only for its haute couture and ready-to-wear fashion but also for its leather goods, perfumes, and beauty products. Iconic handbags such as the "Lady Dior" and the "Saddle Bag" are particularly coveted worldwide. Under the leadership of Maria Grazia Chiuri, the brand has earned a reputation for modern feminism. Dior remains one of the world's most influential and sought-after luxury brands, known for its blend of timeless elegance, craftsmanship, and innovative aesthetics.
