Fendi
The renowned Roman luxury fashion house Fendi was founded in Rome in 1925 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi, initially as a fur and leather goods business. To this day, the brand's style combines Italian craftsmanship, elegance, and a bold, innovative aesthetic. A defining figure was Karl Lagerfeld, whose collaboration with the five Fendi sisters began in 1965 and lasted for over five decades. He created the iconic "double F" logo, which stands for "Fun Fur" (or Fendi), and modernized the brand. In 2001, Fendi became part of the French luxury goods conglomerate LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton), which remains its principal owner. Fendi is known worldwide for its fur work, its ready-to-wear fashion, and above all, its legendary handbags. The "Baguette" bag, designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, achieved cult status through the series "Sex and the City" and remains a highly coveted accessory. Fendi remains one of the most relevant and sought-after luxury brands, maintaining a strong presence in high fashion through its combination of rich Roman heritage and modern, bold designs.
