Valentino

The Italian **Maison Valentino** is a legend, born in Rome in 1960 by **Valentino Garavani** and his business partner Giancarlo Giammetti, and stands for nothing less than **luxury, glamour, and timeless elegance**. Garavani, the so-called **„King of Couture“**, shaped the fashion world with his unmistakable style, inspired by opulent sophistication and the **Roman dolce vita**. His style is inextricably linked to the vibrant **„Rosso Valentino“**, an intense shade of red that he elevated to the signature of the House as the color of passion and dignity. He dressed the greatest icons of his time, from **Jackie Kennedy** to **Elizabeth Taylor**, in magnificent evening gowns of flowing fabrics with delicate embellishments. After his retirement, the Maison underwent a fascinating transformation under **Pierpaolo Piccioli**, who embraced its classic heritage and combined it with a **rocker, more youthful attitude**. Piccioli demonstrated a bold spirit of innovation by creating iconic pieces like the **„Rockstud“** studded accessories and monochromatic collections in extreme hues such as **„Pink PP“**. He used haute couture to create a new, **more human and political** fashion that celebrates individual freedom. Valentino is thus the living story of timeless luxury, constantly reinventing itself and rooted in fiery passion and impeccable craftsmanship.
